Reset-Dialogues on Civilizations is pleased to announce that Nilüfer Göle, a Turkish Professor of Sociology in Paris and member of our scientific committee, was awarded on May 12th France’s most important decoration, the Légion d’Honneur, for her contributions in the field of Islam In Europe and alternative modernity. Nilüfer Göle has worked for 15 years at the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris, where she is currently director of studies. Professor Alain Touraine presented her with the Légion d’Honneur.

- This autumn, Resetdoc’s debates on cultural pluralism, minorities, differences and democracy, with top thinkers and international scholars, will take place once again in Milan, every two weeks starting on the 31st October. This cycle of the “Plural World” project will be introduced with a lectio magistralis held by the French sociologist Alain Touraine and we will discuss: Living Together with Differences.
