The SantralIstanbul campus is located in the Silahtarağa Santral - Turkey's first electric power station. In May 2004 the Energy and Natural Resources Ministry turned Silahtarağa Santral over to Istanbul Bilgi University and today the new campus hosts the university art and science departments, a contemporary arts museum, and a state-of-the-art library open to the public.

Transportations
Besides the city buses and transportation, the SantralIstanbul campus is reached by the university shuttle service, that connects the city with the university facilities. Click here to check shuttle times and places of departure.

Cafeterias and Restaurants
Istanbul Bilgi University operates several facilities for the convenience of the students and staff on its campuses. The university cafeterias are popular and lively meeting places for both a relaxing meal and a social get-together with friends. A full meal will cost about 8 €.

Your Travel and Over-Night Accomodation
The Istanbul Seminars are organized without the financial support of other institutions. Speakers and participants are expected to raise funds for themselves to cover their travel costs. Speakers and resource persons will be offered accommodation at Bilgi residence appartments. All the other participants are asked to make arrangements for  their own lodging, though we will be happy to assist them with any additional information they might need.

ATTENTION: We have reached the maximum number of admissible students. The possibility of enrollment at the Istanbul Seminars ends on May 27. 

The registration takes place at Istanbul Bilgi University on Monday, June 2, between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. You will have to pay a 5 € fee and we will provide you with a personal badge. At the end of the conference, Biligi University will issue a certificate declaring your participation at the Istanbul Seminars.
